Babs and Pearce Wood are excited to share their mountain home with guests. Pearce grew up skiing with his family during trips to the home they owned in Colorado, and it has always been his dream to be able to share that same experience with his children. When shopping for a home, we chose Breckenridge because of its world-class skiing and summer activity opportunities, and its proximity to the Denver airport. We found “Our Mountain Honey” over spring break in 2016 and it was love at first site. The home is multi-leveled and sprawling, with plenty of nooks to find some peace and quiet. Our first vacation here with the kids included three generations of the family and five children, and it was such a blast. The kids stayed off their smartphones and found tons of ways to entertain themselves, even when the weather was too snowy and cold to play outside. They played together and bonded as cousins. It really was a dream trip and an experience we think so many families will enjoy. When not enjoying all that Colorado has to offer, we spend the majority of our free time in our home town of New Orleans sailing, attending festivals, and enjoying the local music scene. Pearce works in the maritime industry, and Babs is a photographer.
